Hi! I'm Shannon.
I'm the founder of OT Possibilities and creator of the Little Hands Workout Club. I’m a licensed pediatric occupational therapist with over 17 years of experience, specializing in children ages 3 to 5. I love working with this age because I believe this is a critical window for developing hand strength and building confidence through age-appropriate skills.
In today’s world, where kids spend more time using their fingers to tap and swipe on touch screens, I feel that many are missing out on essential muscle-building play that prepares their hands for school and life. Over the years, I’ve supported countless preschoolers who struggle with age-appropriate tasks like cutting, drawing, or buttoning because of weak hand muscles. Just like adults need consistent workouts for strength and stamina, young children need regular hand workouts to grow the fine motor foundation they’ll use every day.
I’m passionate about creating fun and engaging activities that build hand strength such as squeezing glue bottles and cutting play dough while encouraging early learning. My goal is to help little ones develop a strong grip on crayons, scissors, and buttons and to give families and teachers the tools to help children succeed in their growth early and intentionally.

Come join the Little Hands Workout Club and our community. We will strengthen little hands in a playful, engaging program designed to help children develop the foundation for prewriting success. Together, let’s build the skills and confidence preschoolers need for kindergarten and beyond.
